Oral Sex Is Fueling the Global Spread of Untreatable Gonorrhea

The World Health Organization (WHO) has indicated that gonorrhoea is adapting to antibiotics and mutating into an untreatable form.

The outlook Is grim and experts say oral sex is making the problem worse.

Researchers examined surveillance data from 2009 to 2014 from 77 countries and found cases of antibiotic-resistant gonorrhea basically everywhere.

In almost all of the countries analyzed, there were strains of gonorrhea resistant to ciprofloxacin.

Most front-line drugs, including penicillin, have stopped working against the bacteria that causes the STD, Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

Combination therapy is largely proving to be unsuccessful too, and it is becoming transmittable through oral sex, as the throat can get infected through oral sex.

The WHO researchers note that there are three new drugs currently being tested in clinical trials, while some scientists are exploring using mouthwash to stop throat infections of gonorrhea.

It is expected that it is unlikely that things will be getting better before they get a lot worse.

UK’s first ever gay Muslim marriage

The first UK same-sex marriage involving a Muslim person has happened in Walsall in the UK.

Grooms Jahed Choudhury and Sean Roganwore wore traditional Muslim attire for the ceremony.

Jahed’s family did not attend the wedding, and he revealed that they believe it’s a disease and can be cured.

The couple met while Mr Choudhury was crying on a bench in Darlaston, and Sean stopped to see if he was okay.

Jahed suffered continual bullying throughout secondary school, while the mosque he attended in his childhood no longer allowed him in, and he was physically attacked by others in the community.

Growing up with Bangladeshi parents in a traditionally Muslim household, Mr Choudhury felt trapped.

The couple got engaged last June, hoping to show people that they don’t care what others think.

China Bans Homosexual Content From the Internet

China has now banned homosexual content from the internet, labelling it abnormal

Human rights group Freedom House calls China as the “worst abuser of Internet freedom” on the planet.

A few years ago, the People’s Republic of China waged war on Internet freedom, and the battle is brutal.

The latest victim of its outrageous censorship initiative is content featuring same-sex relationships of any kind.

The China Netcasting Services Association (CNSA) launched a vicious crusade to erase “abnormal sexual activity” from the Internet in Chinese.

Content depicting same-sex affection of any kind seems to fall into that category, as the CNSA outlawed queer content online and asserts that, like adultery and drug abuse, it’s a detriment to society.
